PRI vs DRI

Same scale. Very different purpose.

What DRI measures

Four pillars. Proctored under real conditions.

Technical assessment

Proctored exam covering your primary domain — DSA, system design, SQL, or domain-specific knowledge for non-CS streams.

Project portfolio review

Your projects are evaluated for real technical depth, architecture decisions, and your ability to explain and defend them under questioning.

Communication round

Structured evaluation of how you explain technical concepts, handle behavioural questions and present your reasoning under pressure.

Integrity score

Proctoring tracks webcam, tab switches and answer patterns. A clean integrity score is part of the DRI — employers care about this.

For employers

How companies use DRI.

Pre-screen candidates

Filter by DRI score, domain and role before spending any recruiter time.

Verify readiness independently

DRI is proctored and project-backed — not self-reported. Employers can rely on it as a defensible signal.

Hire-Train-Deploy

Set your hiring bar on the DRI scale. c2cedge trains cohorts to that exact bar and surfaces only those who clear it.

Track talent over time

Because DRI re-scores as skills grow, employers can monitor the readiness trajectory of candidates they're interested in.

FAQ

DRI questions answered.

Do I need to take PRI before DRI?
Yes — PRI is the prerequisite. It identifies your gaps and your roadmap closes them. DRI is then the verification that you've crossed the bar. Start with the free PRI.
How long does DRI take?
The full DRI evaluation takes 2–3 hours spread across a proctored session. It covers a technical exam, project review and communication round.
Can I retake DRI?
Yes, after a 30-day gap. Your score history is maintained — both attempts are visible so employers see your trajectory, not just your last attempt.
Does the DRI expire?
No — DRI doesn't expire, but it does re-score as you add new skills, projects and assessments. This keeps it current throughout your career.
Is there a cost for DRI?
The full proctored DRI is part of the premium plan. The free plan gives you the PRI diagnostic and roadmap. Contact us for institutional pricing for colleges.
How do employers verify a DRI score?
Employers receive a verified DRI report through the c2cedge employer portal. The report includes assessment details, integrity data and a shareable credential link — not just a number.
